Hope Cafe celebrates the importance Christian Art and Artists have played in communicating the Gospel through the ages. The Cafe embraces and showcases Christian Art through a variety of mediums and multiple artistic disciplines. We encourage artists to contact our Cafe Manager, Gayle Carter, gayle@hopecaferaleigh.com, to submit your expression of faith for sale by consignment or display at the Hope Cafe.

Each month we like to sponsor a Christian Artist at Hope Cafe. For the month of May our featured Artists of the Month are Home School Students taught by Amanda Cruz.
Come meet the students and see their artwork dispayed at an Art Exhibit on Monday, May 7 from 6:30-8:30pm.

Bio
Art with Amanda was founded in 2011 by Amanda Cruz. In 2011 she walked away from a full-time teaching position to follow God’s guidance for her life. Her life has been so touched by all of the families and people she has met along the way and God has truly blessed this. Art with Amanda provides art lessons to students that may not other wise be able to take art. I believe that art is a fundamental part of a child’s education. Art builds confidence, develops problem-solving skills, and let’s face it, it is a lot of FUN!! The majority of my students are home-schooled, attend private school, or just can’t get enough art. She graduated from Meredith College and is a fully licensed K-12 Visual Arts teacher. The artwork on display includes all of the Art with Amanda Students of the 2011-2012 school year.
